05/21/2011 - Syberia and Syberia 2 Now Available on Steam

Kicking off a new partnership with Anuman Interactive, Meridian4 today launched on Steam a classic adventure series that PC gamers have been in love with for nearly a decade.  To celebrate the rebirth of Syberia and Syberia 2, Meridian4 is offering gamers a 20% discount for the first week.

Developed by Microids, the adventure begins as Kate Walker, a young, ambitious lawyer from New York, is handed what seems a fairly straight forward assignment - a quick stopover to handle the sale of an old automaton factory hidden in the alpine valleys, then straight back home to the US.  Little did she imagine when embarking on this task that her life would be turned upside down.

Syberia and Syberia 2 are currently available for download on Steam for $9.99.  For more information and to download directly, please visit the following product pages:

05/17/2011 - Dead Rising In-Game Teaser Trailer
Postcard From Paradise
The fight for survival begins with the release of the first in-game Dead IslandTM teaser

17th May 2011 – Hampshire, UK /… Deep Silver today released the first in-game teaser from the eagerly-anticipated Dead Island, ‘Tragedy Hits Paradise', to whet gamers appetite before the full E3 trailer in June. The short teaser, created by Buddha Jones, introduces the beautiful holiday isle of Banoi, whose stunning vistas and lush foliage serve as the location for a brutal fight for survival against a zombie outbreak.

Dead Island™, the upcoming gruesome zombie slasher by renowned developer Techland, combines first-person action with a heavy focus on melee combat, character development and customisation of a vast array of weapons. All of these gameplay features are presented in a dark story inspired by classic zombie movies with a gritty and engrossing campaign that can be played with up to four players in co-op mode.

Set in an open world tropical island, hordes of different festering zombies await players around every corner while they embark on a variety of thrilling missions through the holiday resort. With firearms and ammunition being scarce the player must rely on utilising found items as weapons for self-defense and fight off zombie hordes in intense melee combat. A diverse range of items can be collected and will later serve to transform the player’s ordinary makeshift weapons into serious instruments of destruction.

Dead Island will be released worldwide for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC later this year.

05/16/2011 - Gotham City Imposters Coming to Xbox Live and PSN

Critically Acclaimed Monolith Productions Shatters First-Person Shooter Model with Over-the-Top Gameplay Where Players Become Personalised Versions of The Bats and The Jokerz

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Gotham City Impostors, an original download-only first-person shooter where players battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker. Developed by Monolith Productions, the game will be available in the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Windows PC and PlayStation®Network.

“Gotham City Impostors blows apart expectations for superhero games with an exaggerated take on first person shooters, set in a part of the DC Universe players have never seen before,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.  “Monolith is creating a game that turns Gotham City upside down and we think fans are going to have a blast with this creative twist on multiplayer heroism and anti-heroism as they play up the classic rivalry between Batman and The Joker.”

Gotham City Impostors is a multiplayer game unlike any other, giving players the opportunity to rebel against conformity as they customise their own characters.  Posing as amateur vigilantes or villains, gamers will create their very own Bats and Jokerz characters using unprecedented customisation options including insane costumes, homebrewed gadgets and a wide range of traditional and imagined weapons.

The game will feature maps and modes inspired by DC Comics’ Batman license.
