In Space Colony players are blasted half way across the galaxy with limited resources, a mega corporation looking over their shoulder and a ragtag crew expecting a pay cheque. There’s an off-world settlement to build and hostile alien threats to neutralise, but neglect the crew and the colony is doomed. Each colonist has a mind of their own, so keeping them safe, happy and alive is no easy feat. Nurture them and they’ll team up to protect the company’s interests, forget to pay them and all hell breaks loose!

Choosing from more than 100 different buildings, it’s up to the player to design and build a colony that meets the needs of their crew. So before spending every last credit on iron extraction and lucrative space chicken production remember that without laser defences, a sauna and a half-decent restaurant nobody is going to want to work for you.

Key Features:

·Construct – Design your colony for cosmic warfare or interplanetary tourism with over 100 structures.
·Defend – Protect your colonists with Hovermines, laser turrets and the fearsome ‘Dogbot’.
·Train – Develop a cast of unique characters in cybernetics, nutrient extraction, bio-research and more.
·Explore – Discover uncharted worlds and increase your wealth and standing with Blackwater Industries.
·Steam Edition – Play through a new campaign and download custom maps via Steam Workshop.

Space Colony: Steam Edition is available now for PC on Steam, with 15% off for the next seven days and Mac and Linux versions expected post-release:

04/30/2015 - Call of Duty Ascendance DLC Now Available on PC and PlayStation
CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE ASCENDANCE AVAILABLE NOW ON PLAYSTATION AND PC

London, UK – 30th April, 2015 – Ascendance, the second epic DLC pack for Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare is live on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC. Ascendance features four new action-packed maps, the formidable OHM weapon (a 2-in-1 directed energy light machine gun/shotgun), the OHM Werewolf custom variant and Infection, the highly-anticipated next entry in Exo Zombies. In addition, the DLC pack also includes the all-new Exo Grapple ability playlist, which delivers a faster way to reach strategic vantage points, and also doubles as a brutal secondary weapon to take down the competition.
  • Perplex: Get vertical in Sydney as you fight to dominate this five-story modular apartment complex. Take the high ground or blast through the close-quarters interior in this small to medium sized map. Adapt your strategy mid-match when construction drones shift apartment modules, creating new routes and cover positions.
  • Site 244: A spacecraft has crash landed, spilling its mysterious cargo under the shadow of Mt. Rushmore, USA. This medium to large three-lane map allows for any style of gameplay, focusing combat through the space ship's fuselage and around the debris-littered landscape. Use the map-based scorestreak to crack open an alien spore and instantly enhance your perks and exo abilities.
  • Climate: Fight your way through a futuristic man-made utopia in this lush, climate-controlled enclosure. In this small to medium sized circular map, land and water routes channel frenetic combat around the central island structure. Watch your step when the river water changes from an asset into a deadly bubbling obstacle.
  • Chop Shop: Think fast as you make your way through the black market exoskeleton industrial complex and engage in fast-paced shootouts in this medium sized, symmetrical map. Activate the map-based scorestreak to take control of an Advanced Repulsion Turret that radiates a deadly microwave EMP to help lock down key areas.

The Exo Zombies saga continues in the all-new episode, Infection, as the four Atlas employees, portrayed by the returning celebrity cast of John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, RED, Burn After Reading), Bill Paxton (Aliens, Titanic, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror, Scream) and Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Wolf of Wall Street) fight tooth and nail through undead zombie hordes. Located on the outskirts of an Atlas facility, the new Exo Zombies episode introduces a slew of never-before-seen undead masses, a robust arsenal of new traps and armaments and everyone's favourite fast food joint, Burgertown.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance is also included in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season Pass*, where fans can get all four epic DLC Packs planned for the year. The Ascendance DLC Pack also includes the OHM 2-in-1 directed energy light machine gun/shotgun and the OHM Werewolf custom variant.

*Downloadable content in the Season Pass may be sold separately.  If you purchase the DLC Season Pass, do not also purchase these standalone DLC Map Packs, as you will be charged for them.  DLC Season Pass and DLC Map Packs may not be available on all platforms or in all territories.  Pricing and release dates may vary by platform.  Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game required; sold separately.

TINERTIA TO ROCKET LAUNCH ON XBOX ONE, PLAYSTATION 4, AND STEAM IN 2015

Candescent Games and Section Studios Bring Manic Platforming to the Masses— With No Jump Button!

Burbank, CAApril 27, 2015 – Fueled with rocket-powered love, new indie studio Candescent Games, Inc. and design partner Section Studios, along with indie games partner Reverb Triple XP, have primed their powder to ignite the dynamic action-platformer Tinertia in Fall 2015. In development for PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and PC, Tinertia is built on the premise of Quake-like fun, Sonic-like speed, and precision controls…all without a jump button!

Watch the trailer on YouTube
HEREwww.youtube.com/watch?v=iOuh_eaRifM

With its debut at the PlayStation®Experience in December 2014, Tinertia stars the inauspicious robot Weldon who is equipped with a powerful rocket launcher that allows him to propel himself through a kaleidoscopic series of challenging industrial environments. He is stranded on a planet controlled by the evil ARC that has identified Weldon as a threat and is now prepared to destroy him at any cost. Geared for the streaming generation with easy to pick-up but tough to master mechanics,  Tinertia challenges gamers to master rocket-jumping. Players will control the momentum, rhythm, and speed of Weldon launching him over deadly obstacles, outrun robo-bosses, and ultimately escape off the planet.

“Today’s gamers want an experience that’s fun to master and equally fun to stream and watch with friends,” said Vilas Tewari, CEO and programmer, Candescent Games, Inc. “With that in mind, we designed Tinertia to be a skill based action platformer. Its mechanics are easy to pickup and a spectacle to behold in the hands of a master.”

Tinertia Key Features:
  • No Jump Button: Master the physics-based gameplay to control Weldon using his rocket launcher to achieve accelerated speeds and an infinite supply of ammo to propel him from puzzle to platform.
  • Seven Environments, 70+ Levels: Travel across seven differing environments and more than 70 levels to help Weldon reach the planet’s surface and escape the ARC.
  • Ultimate Challenges:
    • Speed Runs: Challenge your best time with devastatingly fast runs through each level.
    • Rocket Challenges:  Earn par for each level using a limited number of rockets.
    • #YOLO: Dodge treacherous obstacles and play through Weldon’s journey with only one life to earn a spot on the Tinertia leaderboards.
  • Ghost Runs: Players can select the top competitors’ best times and challenge themselves against a ghost Weldon to improve their skills and times.
  • Dynamic Replay Camera Angle System: This ability delivers the dramatic angles of every amazing run with enhanced zoom, camera speed options, and fixed angle features.

Candescent Games, Inc., the development studio, and Section Studios, the design team, are the creative duo behind Tinertia, their debut video game on PS™4, on Xbox One via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program and PC.
