03/01/2016 - Koei Tecmo Announces the Return of Romance of the Three Kingdoms

Developed in Celebration of the Series’ 30th Anniversary, ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII’ Unites Deep, Strategic Gameplay with Nearly Endless Customization

Hertfordshire, 31st March 2016- This summer Koei Tecmo Europe invites gamers to rediscover a turbulent era of political instability, large-scale conflict, and human drama with the western return of historical simulation/ strategy epic Romance of the Three Kingdoms after a 9 year hiatus. Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII will launch across Europe on 8th July 2016 for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and PC via Steam®.

Based on the beloved novel of the same name, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII has been developed in celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The game uses the tale of a collapsing dynasty and the power-hungry emerging factions to set a complex chessboard on which players can follow and influence the fateful events leading to the unification of 2nd century China.

Fans of strategy games will find this exceptionally detailed title to be a challenging and rewarding blend of deep strategy and historically accurate warfare, regardless of their familiarity with the rich story of the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese history. Cities can be built and developed; alliances can be fostered or broken; armies can be mustered and deployed. Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII prides itself on offering a wide selection of options for conflict resolution, the most impressive of which are the armies. A wide variety of army units can be recruited and trained, including foot soldiers, cavalry, artillery, and navy, while special care has been taken to incorporate diplomacy and personal relationships, giving the player an extra incentive to build a stable and loyal network of friends and allies.

This comprehensive and exceptionally detailed strategy title features two compelling gameplay experiences: the Campaign mode, which stays true to the most profound of strategy games by allowing players the freedom to choose a starting year and customize the board to their liking before attempting to beat the game, and the Hero mode, which acts an in-depth tutorial, closely following historical events while teaching players all of the game’s mechanics. In Hero mode, players familiar with characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series can also enjoy an alternative way to relive the exciting lives and adventures of those heroes before proceeding to leave their own mark on history!

In Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII players have near endless customisation choices, as they can take on the mantle of one of 700 historical characters (including such fan- favourites as Zhao Yun, Liu Bei, Cao Cao and more), or create their own unique character and try to climb the proverbial leadership ladder.

To better illustrate the style and feel of the upcoming game, Koei Tecmo has released a
teaser trailer and a batch of in-game assets showcasing battle scenes and characters. More news and information on Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII will become available in the coming weeks.

03/29/2016 - Telltale's Walking Dead Michonne Series Episode Two Launch
The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries Continues Today with Episode Two - 'Give No Shelter'

Second of Three Episodes in Miniseries from Award-Winning Developers

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Mar. 29, 2016  - Leading publisher of digital entertainment Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman's Skybound Entertainment, announced today that  'Give No Shelter,' the second of three episodes in  The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries, is now available for download.

Episode 2 -  'Give No Shelter' is available now on PC/Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The episode is also available today for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon App Store. The miniseries will conclude with the third episode,  'What We Deserve,' in April.

The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries stars the iconic, blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkman's best-selling comic books, portrayed in-game by award-winning actress  Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black). Haunted by her past and coping with unimaginable loss and regret, the story explores Michonne across a three episode miniseries event. Players will dive into the mind of Michonne to discover what took her away from Rick, Carl, and the rest of her trusted group... and what brought her back.

"At this midpoint in our exploration of an iconic character, players will get a substantial look at what past trauma hides behind Michonne's often inscrutable exterior," said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games.  "Living a part of Michonne's life through Telltale gameplay provides real insight into one of the most complex psyches in Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead universe. With this as the backdrop to a tense pursuit that hurtles to a cliffhanger ending, we hope this episode leaves players excited for the conclusion coming next month."

In this second episode,  'Give No Shelter,' a daring escape from the floating colony of Monroe sees Michonne, Pete, and Sam running for their lives. An all too brief reprieve is soon shattered; the leaders of Monroe don't forgive and don't forget. With memories of her daughters bleeding ever further into Michonne's blurred reality, her world is becoming increasingly fractured... just at the point when she'll need all of her skills to survive.

To date,  The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series has sold  more than  50 million episodes worldwide, earning  more than 100 Game of the Year awards from outlets including  Metacritic, USA Today, Wired, Spike TV VGAs, Yahoo!, The Telegraph, Mashable, Polygon, Destructoid and GamesRadar, and was also the recipient of two  BAFTA Video Games Awards for  Best Story and  Best Mobile Game.

The Walking Dead is set in the world of Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic book series and offers an emotionally-charged, tailored game experience where a player's actions and choices affect how their story plays out across the entire series.

The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries Episode 2 - 'Give No Shelter' is rated 'M' (Mature) for Intense Violence, Blood & Gore, and Strong Language by the ESRB.
