06/09/2016 - Funcom to Release Conan Exiles on Steam Early Access
11:51 pm pdt
Brand new trailer showing pre-alpha gameplay now available, new screenshots –
FUNCOM TO RELEASE ‘CONAN EXILES’ INTO EARLY ACCESS ON SEPTEMBER
– June 9th, 2016 – Funcom, the independent developer and publisher of computer and console games, today
announced that the company’s open-world survival game ‘Conan Exiles’ will enter into Early Access
on September 13th, 2016. The company cut the ribbon to the official Steam page today, where Early Access will kick off, with full launch on PC and consoles to
follow. The company also released the first ever trailer featuring pre-alpha gameplay footage, finally giving fans a glimpse
at how the game looks in motion. The video is available in eight different languages.
Embed the English version of the trailer from Funcom’s YouTube page
“We’re very excited (and a bit nervous) about launching our first Early Access title,”
said Funcom CEO Rui Casais. “The team wants to give the players the best possible experience, and while we are used
to working on a game for several years before letting players in, this time around we will let players in just nine months
after development started! As with any Early Access games, some features and content will be more finalized than others, and
players will be able to help us focus on what’s important to them so that we can improve the game and flesh out content
and systems before full launch.”
‘Conan Exiles’ will first become available as an Early
Access title, meaning certain content and features will be more complete than others when first available. Over time Funcom
will work with the community and players and focus on what is important to them when deciding what to improve, what new mechanics
and content to add. Players can expect the game to improve significantly over the course of the Early Access period, on everything
from graphics to content and systems.
Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game where players are cast
into a barbaric wasteland where the weak are crushed and the strong survive. Here they must survive, build, and dominate on
their own or in multiplayer on public and private servers. Players will get to explore a vast, seamless world full of dangers
and rewards, and they must harvest resources to craft weapons, tools, and even buildings and entire settlements. The game
features bloody, visceral combat and will see players clash in epic fights for domination of the barbaric lands. The game
is set to enter Early Access on September 13th, 2016, with full launch on PC and consoles to follow.
Funcom announced that the company will be working closely with NVIDIA to ensure cutting-edge graphics in ‘Conan
Exiles’, and to co-promote the game through NVIDIA’s “The Way It’s Meant to Be Played”
program. You can find the full press release on www.funcom.com .

11:14 pm pdt
Celebrates 7th Anniversary
with New Lucky Seven Collectible Arcade Token
Seven Incredible Years with a Brand New Coin
Hollywood, CA – June 1st, 2016 – DigThatBox.com and
DigThatBox.LLC are proud to announce the 2016 collectible arcade token giveaway. This year marks the seventh anniversary of
this now legendary promotion. In honor of this historic event DigThatBox.com has created a brand new coin celebrating the
seventh year of the arcade token giveaway.
The new coin is an
original creation featuring all new artwork. The front of the coin features a large image of the iconic Pixel Invader. The
character is well known as the official mascot of DigThatBox.com. The back of the coin sports a new Lucky Seven motif, festooned
with four leaf clovers. The site hopes this new coin will bring good luck to everyone who owns it.
"Over the years the arcade token giveaway has brought tremendous joy and good fortune to everyone on our website.
This year we wanted to create a coin that gives back some of the good luck this promotion has brought us in the past seven
years." said Elliott S. Thomas founder of DigThatBox.com.
The coin is minted in yellow brass and its surface has
a shiny golden luster. The gold Lucky Seven coin is limited to just 1000 units and is available while supplies last. This
coin will only be available for a limited time and will not be distributed in any future promotion.
The new Lucky 7 coin features the original artwork of artist Christian George-Morehouse based on the creative vision
of DigThatBox.com founder Elliott S. Thomas. The pair has worked together on every coin in the Dig That Box Collection.
These beautiful and unique collectible coins are produced in co-operation with
Osborne Coinage®. These freshly minted coins are made right here in the USA. They are created with only the finest, high
grade, lead free materials.
DigThatBox.com started their collectible
arcade token giveaway in 2010. The very first coin was presented to actor Leonard Nimoy. Since that time, the website has
created 13 different coins in a variety of styles and colors. The coins have been distributed to all 50 states and to 44 different
countries world wide. They have been given to celebrities, notable figures in the video game industry and are even featured
in the national Video Game History Museum. Most importantly thousands of coins have been given away, for free, to friends
and fans worldwide.
The new collectible coins will be made available
at E3 Expo 2016, which begins on June 14th. A small number of coins will also be made available at the 2016 Portland Retro
Gaming Expo. DigThatBox.com will also be giving away tokens to its loyal online readers through a global mail order give-away.
Additional details for the online give-away will be released on June 3rd, 2016.
