02/02/2017 - New Information on Dragon Ball Fusions

Today, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe is back with a new gameplay video for DRAGON BALL FUSIONS. And now it’s time to get into the Battle System!

A Dragon Ball game without gravity-defying duels between champions is no Dragon Ball game at all! Thankfully DRAGON BALL FUSIONS has it all! In this new video, you’ll discover all the secrets of its Battle System.

First, the Attack Triangle – Speed beats Power, Power beats Technique and Technique beats Speed – will help you to choose how best to strike your target with different Standard, Ki and Special Attacks. Then the Timeline, at the bottom of the screen; this shows you the next character who will get to perform an action. Pay close attention to this feature! If this character takes damage, they will move slightly left, back along the line, and another character may take their place. It’s then time to pull out all the stops with team combos and chain reactions. But attacks alone won’t win the fight, you also have to defend yourself! Guess where your enemies will strike to block them and reduce the incoming damage.

Stay tuned, we’ll follow up with the last gameplay video soon, showing off all you need to know about the Fusions!

DRAGON BALL FUSIONS will be coming to Europe, Middle East and Australasian territories on 17th February 2017 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS handheld system. To learn more about BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe’s other products go to:

01/31/2017 - Shadow Warrior 2 and PAYDAY 2 Crossover Event

Austin, TX  – Flying Wild Hog, Devolver Digital, OVERKILL and Starbreeze have announced a special crossover event between first-person shooter standouts Shadow Warrior 2 and PAYDAY 2. The crossover event includes two PAYDAY 2 weapons and the iconic Dallas mask introduced into Shadow Warrior 2 while Lo Wang’s trademark katana and several demon masks have made their way into PAYDAY 2.

Both games are available together in a limited time bundle on Steam where players can get 25% off Shadow Warrior 2 and 75% off PAYDAY 2 plus an additional 10% off if a player already owns one of the games [http://store.steampowered.com/sale/payday_shadowwarrior_promo/].

Shadow Warrior 2 is the stunning evolution of Flying Wild Hog’s offbeat first-person shooter following the further misadventures of former corporate shogun Lo Wang. Now surviving as a reclusive mercenary on the edge of a corrupted world, the formidable warrior must again wield a devastating combination of guns, blades, magic and wit to strike down the demonic legions overwhelming the world he inadvertently corrupted. Battle alongside allies online in four-player co-op or go it alone in spectacular landscapes to complete daring missions and collect powerful new weapons, armor, and arcane relics of legend.

PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter that once again lets gamers don the masks of the original PAYDAY crew - Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains - as they descend on Washington DC for an epic crime spree.

01/30/2017 - Nintendo Hosts Mario Level-Design Workshop at LA Public Library
Nintendo Hosts a Mario Level-Design Workshop at the Los Angeles Public Library

Kids of All Ages Built Levels Together in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS Using Tips from Nintendo Experts

REDMOND, Wash., Jan. 30, 2017 – With the Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS game, which recently launched exclusively for the
Nintendo 3DS family of systems, players of all ages can play a wide assortment of fun Super Mario courses, as well as create their own wild courses using the game’s intuitive interface. To highlight the engaging creation aspect of the portable game, Nintendo teamed up with the City Dads Group – an organization focused on giving dads a network to bond with their children and fellow parents – to bring an interactive “Build, Play, Share” workshop to the Los Angeles Public Library. Hosted by Nintendo game experts on Jan. 27, the workshop provided a fun space for families and local teens to enjoy building together. But in this case, instead of building something physical in the real world, participants learned to build virtual courses in the world of Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS.

“With the recent national push for more STEM programs for children in schools, partnering with City Dads Group and the Los Angeles Public Library was a great opportunity to highlight the level-design capabilities of Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “This exciting event helped introduce a new playtime activity for the digital era that families can enjoy together.”

“City Dads Group was fortunate to collaborate with an amazing brand like Nintendo to host a game design workshop in the L.A. Public Library,” said Lance Somerfeld, co-founder, City Dads Group. “The interactive event immersed dads and their little ones in winning experiences that are fun for the whole family.”

The “Build, Play, Share” workshop invited people of all ages to the Los Angeles Public Library’s Central Library in downtown L.A. to work in teams to conceptualize and build their own courses in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS. Game-design experts from Nintendo were on hand to lend their expertise to attendees, while also providing tips and sparking course-building ideas. In addition to this event in Los Angeles, video assets will soon be available on the
Play Nintendo website for other organizations to access so they can host their own “Build, Play, Share” workshops.
Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS features 100 built-in courses, as well as select courses from the Super Mario Maker game on the
Wii U console. In addition, courses that are in progress can be shared with other players via the Nintendo 3DS system’s StreetPass feature and local wireless so multiple people can collaborate on building courses together. Nintendo 3DS systems provide a fun way for adults and kids to enjoy video games anywhere, whether on a road trip, at home in the living room or even in the library! With many different models available, anyone can pick up a Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS system starting at a suggested retail price of only $79.99.
