There's so many cool events happening during Comic Con not just inside but in the surrounding neighborhood as well. Some of them you may not even be aware of. Some of them do not require a badge either. Unfortunately, it's impossible to do them all. And we can't clone ourselves yet. With that in mind, let's take a look at some of the events that you may want to check out. In no particular order:

The ever popular Her Universe fashion show returns to the Manchester Grand Hyatt on Thursday the 19th in the Harbor Ballroom at 6pm. Seating is limited. [Link]

Another returning favorite, the Aquabats will descend on the House of Blues on Saturday the 21st for an 12 noon show. Tickets and information can be found here: [Link]

The Cat Cafe returns for another sure to be purrific event. What better respite from all the Con craziness than a cup of coffee and a kitty? This is happening Thursday through Sunday but you need to book a reservation time. Go here for information: [Link]

Attention fans of Bob's Burgers, there will be a meetup on Friday the 20th at 2pm. Details can be found on their Facebook page: [Link]

The Peanuts gang returns to the Gaslamp with a pop-up shop at 226 5th Ave. There will be exclusive merchandise, maybe some freebies (I still have all my stickers from the last 2 years) and possibly an appearance by Snoopy himself.

One of my personal favorites, Super7 is hosting two special events at their shop at 701 8th Ave. First up, on Wednesday and Thursday, the shop will be transformed into Hordak's Lair, featuring their latest merchandise and a slew of exclusives from the Masters of the Universe line. [Link]

Then on Friday through Sunday, the shop transforms again into the Universal Monsters Boodega Monstore, featuring their newest foray into the classic Universal Monsters line. [Link]

The Maritime Museum of San Diego will feature a special event on Saturday, Boarded! A New Pirate Adventure. This 90 minute interactive show promises to put you 'right in the middle of the pirate action.' Information and tickets can be purchased here: [Link]

If you're a fan of Rocket League, you won't want to miss their 3rd Birthday Bash, happening on Thursday in the 'Experience at Comic-Con' (formerly known at Petco Park.) Exclusive merchandise and celebrity guests will be on hand. Perhaps you'll be able to play against one of them! You can RSVP here: [Link]

On Wednesday and again on Saturday, Doug Benson's popular Doug Loves Movies podcast will host two live shows at the American Comedy Co. Tickets can be purchased here: [Link]

20th Century Fox is sponsoring the first ever Buffy the Vampire Slayer 'Vampire Hunt' on Saturday. Sign up for the chance to slay your way through several Vampire Nests and get some pretty sweet rewards. You will need to register here: [Link]

The Baker Street Babes will be hosting The Great SherlockeDCC Scavenger Hunt. Taking place during the entire run of Comic Con, completing different tasks will earn you points. The more points you score, the better your chance at some sweet prizes. [Link]

Another returning favorite, the Hello Kitty Cafe food truck will be at the Experience at Comic Con (a.k.a. Petco Park) to feed the masses daily from Thursday through Sunday. Check out their Facebook page for more info. [Link]

The Impractical Jokers return to Comic Con on Saturday with another block party featuring games, food and signings. Details are still forthcoming but it will be in the same location as last year, the Experience at Comic Con (a.k.a. Petco Park).

CBS will be taking over the Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts Gallery (363 Fifth Ave.) and rebranding it the Star Trek: Discovery Mirror Universe Gallery, featuring props and costumes from the series as well as merchandise and a photo op.

Amazon Studios will host The Jack Ryan Experience, a huge offsite at the corner of MLK and 1st to promote the upcoming series. Open daily Thursday through Sunday, fans will get the chance to train like Jack Ryan, take part in a VR experience, complete tasks to earn points and purchase exclusive merchandise.

If you love The Walking Dead/Fear The Walking Dead, then you won't want to miss Dead Quarters, located at 4th Ave. and L Street. Featuring a walk through of several key locations, a 'zombie slide' and several photo ops, this opens daily at 11am.

If you missed the Laika Experience last year, you're in luck because the studio returns with an even bigger exhibit planned this year. Located at 350 5th Ave., this is a great opportunity to get up close with some of the props and puppets from such beloved films as Coraline and ParaNorman.
