  • The latest version of the most popular football gaming series is finally here. FIFA 15 was released across all major platforms including Microsoft Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The gaming experience on all platforms is quite similar, but as you will soon see, the revolution is in the details.

    Just The Facts:

FIFA 2015 features 37 international teams and over 16,000 players. Some of the unlicensed leagues from FIFA 14 are now being certified, while the rest of them are removed. For example, the Turkish Super League has joined the approved leagues, while the Argentinian National B Division is not in the game anymore. Moreover, nine more football arenas are added to the list of licensed stadiums.

In the offline mode, you can play for over 600 clubs in 35 licensed leagues. You can also build your own FIFA Ultimate Team and compete online in single matches and tournaments with other online players. FIFA Ultimate Team is just like a fantasy football league. It is truly a dream come true for die hard football fans.

While the core mechanics of FIFA 15 are very similar to the previous title, the changes to the player AI make this version a whole new ball game. In the single-player mode, you will play against the advanced AI. The computer gameplay is both sophistacted and deep. Your opponent will adapt very quickly to your style of gameplay. Matches remain challinging all the way to the final minutes of the game. Things can get quite intense as you play through the robust career mode. However, the game never stops being compelling and most of all very fun.

    Attention to Details:

Although the graphics are mostly based on 2014 version, you can see a host of improvements like more refined colors and improved lighting. However the most exciting addition to the 2015 game is what EA calls "emotional intelligence." EA Canada has given the team players over 600 new emotional animations. Players now respond to critical moments like bad calls, missed shots and epic goals with a lifelife realism that truly heightens the gameplay experience.

Another fantastic upgrade is the next gen goalie. The goalie in FIFA 15 has been completely rebuilt from the ground up with new animations and sophisticated new AI. Goalies now have a level of realism never before seen in a soccer video game. Hardcore fans will immediately notice and appreciate the advanced new AI.

    The Final Word:

FIFA 15 is more than just a new, incremental update, it's a revolution in soccer video games. The stunning attention to detail makes this the best FIFA game yet. Casual gamers will be able to jump right in and play, while hardcore fans will spend hours playing against the challenging and sophisticated new AI. From the single player modes to the online gaming, FIFA 15 is a solid package with tons of great content. It is one of the best soccer games I have played in years. It also gives you a lot of bang for your buck.
