Stars Walk the Green Carpet at the Transformers 3 Premiere

Just a few hours ago director Michael Bay unveiled his highly anticipated action summer blockbuster Transformers Dark of the Moon. The world premiere was held at Moscow’s Red Square and officially kicked off the Moscow International Film Festival.

Aside from Michael Bay key cast members Shia LaBoeuf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tyreese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Patrick Dempsey and John Malkovich walked the green carpet. Transformers beauty Megan Fox has been replaced by British Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Executive producer Steven Spielberg didn’t take kindly to Fox comparing Bay to "hitler" in a public interview and ordered the director to fire her.

Do not assume, however, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley got the Transformers gig because she’s a beautiful model and happened to star in many of the Victoria’s Secret commercials Bay directed! She had do undergo numerous auditions before she could beat out hundreds of rival actresses for the coveted job.

Unlike Megan Fox Rosie is very fond of the action director: "I met Michael Bay back in 2009 on a Victoria's Secret commercial, and we've always gotten along," she says. "The guy has a great sense of humor, he has a really tough work ethic, which I do. He works really hard, and he expects his team and his cast to be professional and work hard. That's been my work ethic all along, so we get along fine."

Transformers: Dark of the Moon will first be released on US IMAX screens on 9PM on Tuesday, June 28th before it goes wide the following day. We will have a review for you on Monday the 27th.
